Actor comes out – but not with a Big Bang

The Big Bang Theory actor Jim Parsons has confirmed what a lot of people thought when he thanked a guy called Todd at the Golden Globes in 2010 – he's gay and in a long-term relationship.

It sure was one of the queerest Emmys in recent memory. Gay performers and TV shows which feature gay characters are the big winners at the 2010 Emmys in the US, including queer favourites Modern Family and Glee.
