Joy To The City
Australia’s only Full Time Queer Radio Broadcaster has just completed the mammoth task of moving from it’s small South Melbourne studio to it’s truly awesome new home at City Village in Melbourne’s CBD. Joy FM’s new location boasts 3 new sound studios, glorious spacious office space with stunning views of the city, and an amazing rooftop garden space. But why just take my word for it?
Head along to Joy FM’s Open day and rooftop BBQ this Saturday from 11am, at level 9, 225 Bourke Street in the city and check out the awesome new space for yourself, and meet some of the stars of the shows.
Don’t forget that Joy is still holding it’s Radiothon till the 16th July, so there’s never been a better time to join. You can see that the money has been going to good use. Congratulations to all at Joy!
Mamma Mia is out now in cinemas, through Universal pictures. Here is the trailer:
Your Second Christmas
Melbourne Mardi Gras Group (MMGG) is one of Victoria’s sexiest entries at Mardi Gras, and Xmas in July is their primary fundraising event of the year. Join them at Club Evolution in Commercial road on Saturday 12th July and you’ll be treated to a fab line-up of DJs including Dan Murphy(Syd), Jake Kilby(Syd), Stryker(Syd) and Chris E(Melb). Magician and illusionist Cath Jamison will be doing a special guest performance. Plus all the spunks and spunkettes from MMGG will be there to boogie right along side you!
Your $25 ticket will go towards supporting a great group of girls and guys to put their best foot forward up at Mardi Gras for what will be their last ever march.
There will be an after party for the event too, at Moser Room at Chaser’s Nightclub in Chapel Street, which will feature the very fun DJ Mike Evans.
You can get tickets from the Muscle and Bodyshape Gym at 35 Cato street prahran or by emailing Danni at melbournemardigras@gmail.com.
Above And Beyond
Yes that’s right. It’s almost time for the next installment of Melbourne’s premiere gay leather party. Have you got your ticket yet? Beyond Black has been providing the leather scene with the hottest, sexiest and sweatiest dance party event for the best part of 7 years now. What better way to warm up on a chilly Melbourne night than bumping and pumping to some ace music by hot DJs Scott Anderson, Rob Gilbert and Miss Elenie, in your best leathers?
The next Beyond Black happens on 26th July at Geddes Lane in the city. Go on! Explore your darker side! Tickets are available from Bang Clothing in Prahran, Eagle Leather and Dungeon Warehouse in Hoddle Street.
