Porn star Marco Blaze is 26 years old, 5’9, Argentinian and undeniably handsome. He’s currently in Melbourne on his first visit meeting fans, promoting his porn films and talking to the public about the importance of safe sex.
Have you ever been to Australia before?
No, this is my first time. I’m looking forward to some sunny days and fun people. I’d also heard that Aussies are very hot, so I’m looking forward to meeting the locals too.
So, why did you get into porn in the first place?
Well, I’m a very sexual person by nature, and I love to show off. I thought it was about time to start making some money with all the time and energy I was spending having sex for fun. So porn came as a natural choice for me.
Has your life changed much since you’ve been signed to the world famous TitanMen studios?
Yes, quite a bit. I wasn’t aware of the social consequences of being a porn star for such a well known studio. Now it’s not the same when I walk in London’s Soho gay area, or go to a club, or even take a plane. People recognise me. Sometimes they stop to say hello. I was even stopped on the subway by a guy that just wanted to make sure that I was “that guy that he saw in the porn movie”. So basically now, I think twice about how I look or what I’m doing when in gay places. It feels good, but it’s also a bit of a sacrifice of my freedom. But you cannot always have it all, right?
Do you still have a day job?
I went to performing arts school and ballet school. I’ve been a fulltime professional dancer for the past nine years after I finished my official studies. I’m not dancing much at the moment, since I’ve shifted all my efforts and attention to the porn business now.
What is the biggest misconception about you?
That I am straight! Because I actually read something about it on a blog or something… Come on guys! What else do I need to do to make the world believe me I love men? (laughs)
What is the most rewarding part of doing porn for you?
The most rewarding part is getting to do something I enjoy a lot and be able to make a living at it.
What about the downsides?
Of course, like everything in life, it has its downsides, it needs balance… I prefer not to think or give attention to the downsides.
So you’re here to spread the safe sex message. Has this message always been important to you?
Well, I’m young and healthy, and want to keep it that way! Alright, I know the ‘young’ part of it is just temporary. For me, there is nothing to think about – use a condom. Period.
Where would you like to go with your porn career?
Working for a company like TitanMen is certainly taking me to great places I’ve never been before, like Australia! In life? It’s something I wanted to experiment with, to do porn. And like everything I decide to do seriously, I plan it and go for it with my all. Signing with TitanMen is a reflection of that attitude, and it’s taking me in the direction I wished for: quality, passion and having a good time in my job.
To tell you the truth, I have no idea where I want my porn career to go exactly. I’ll do my best to excel at it; consequences and situations will unfold accordingly.
What do you like doing for fun? Are you party boy?
For fun, I certainly consider sex to be one of my favourite activities. I still like to dance. And I enjoy very much having some “me time”. Going to the movies or just having a walk with “me, myself and I” in order to hear my thoughts clearly is something I enjoy a lot. As for being a party boy – no, not me. Sorry to disappoint on that one. I do like to go out now and then, but definitely not a party boy.
Who and what turns you on?
I like people who take care of themselves. In and out. I’m a very visual person, so firstly, it will hit me through my eyes… Working out is important to me, and I like to see guys that feel the same. Somebody that will surely turn me on is somebody that can and will give themselves the freedom to have and experiment with sex without fears when it comes to letting themselves go at being creative. Sex as a game turns me on. If it’s fun and relaxed, then it’s freaking hot!
Which other porn star have you most enjoyed working with? Who is your dream porn co-star?
I enjoyed working with Francois Sagat a lot. A guy that I’ve been looking forward to shooting with is Dean Flynn. That’s happening this coming April when I go shoot in San Francisco. So there, a dream come true!
