What the F begins with this letter of the LGBTI alphabet? We’re so glad you asked…
Fag hags are fabulous female companions to gay guys. Yes, straight girls looking for a fun night out have attached themselves to gay guys before being gay was even an acknowledged thing. They get to have a footloose and fancy-free time away from those pesky straight guys eyeing/groping them, and their gay boys get to have a gossip girl sidekick who’ll listen to their hook-up dramas and maybe even drive them home from the club after they see their ex pashing someone else and must suddenly leave in tears – “Come on Trudy, we’re going!!”
Perhaps the best example of an enduring ‘fag hag’ friendship is that of Will and Grace, or that gruesome twosome from Gimme Gimme Gimme.
Some girls may take the phrase ‘fag hag’ as an insult, but most gay boys would actually treat their female mates like princesses and mean the term affectionately. There are even ‘Fag Hag’ pageants in some gay bars around the world, where the boys nominate their fabulous girl friends for top prizes.

Conversely, straight guys who hang out with guy gays are sometimes called Fag Stags, and a lesbro is a guy who spends a lot of his time with lesbian or bi girls.
Flying Bats Women’s Soccer Club
Sydney is home to the largest lesbian soccer club in the world. The club’s philosophy is simple – to play football, have fun and maintain good ‘sportswomanship’.
First originating in Adelaide, The Flying Bats were born when some of the founding members moved to Sydney. They were sitting outside one night wondering what they could call the club when a flock of bats flew across the evening sky – and the name just stuck.
Club members train in Tempe on Wednesday evenings and compete on Sundays, with post-match drinks afterwards. New people are welcome to sign up and await a position to become available on a Bats’ team – find out more on the Flying Bats Women’s Soccer Club website here.
For some people it might be kissing, others it might be licking and for some it is sucking, touching and fingering. Generally speaking, foreplay it is whatever gets you in to mood before you actually start to have sex. A good dose of foreplay can really heighten the sensations and gets your engine running.
Touch can be some of the most sensual foreplay imaginable. When you’ve desired someone for a long time and you finally get to be with them, simply running your fingers over their naked body can almost be as pleasurable as the motions of sex itself.
What about a good kiss? Having a long make out session with a partner, friend or fuckbuddy can really help get you in the mood. Making out may lead you naturally onto various stages of undress, meaning you can move on from kissing the mouth and concentrate on kissing other areas of your partner’s body. Rule of thumb – if it smells funky don’t kiss it! You may like to continue your foreplay in the shower.
Licking a partner in various areas can make you discover the erogenous zones – make sure you let your partner know when they’re hitting the spot with a little vocalisation, like a moan or gasp. Talking about licking, it’s not like you’re licking a stamp or licking the last bit of a good meal off a plate…. it is more delicate, like you’re trying an ice cream or lolly pop for the first time. There are numerous areas that are quite enjoyable to lick – maybe there are some areas that you never expected to be quite so much fun. Having ice on your tongue can also be a cool and exciting experience when you do start licking.
Sucking… now whether you are gay, straight or bi who doesn’t enjoy receiving or giving head? But sucking does not only refer to oral sex on genitals – it can also mean sucking nipples, ear lobes, the nape of your neck or even toes if that’s your thing! Explore the various areas of the body to see what responds well to being sucked, but there’s nothing sexy about hickey especially if you are over the age of 18!
Now let’s mention another ‘F’ word. Fingering. There’s pleasurable fingering and then there’s just simply nasty fingering. Whether you are sicking your fingers into someone’s mouth, arse or vagina there is no need to be rough and fast. There is nothing good about anything being fast and furious when it comes to sex. Be gentle and enjoy exploring the area because if you do go too hard and fast you may result in your partner walking around like they’ve been ridden by a horse and that’s not pleasurable in the slightest!
The longer the foreplay, the greater the sex? Perhaps. No matter what your persuasion, making out with someone and having some good foreplay can really put you in a good mood no matter how bad your day has been.

The ultimate experience?
For those who practice, fisting has been said to be the ultimate sexual experience. It evokes intense feelings of trust and intimacy. For the guy being fisted, it means giving yourself totally over to the man in control.
Fisting allows for direct stimulation of the prostate (or male g-spot). When the prostate is stroked or manipulated it intensifies the orgasm for the bottom. Manipulating the prostate can also cause the desire to piss for the bottom partner, which can also be a pleasurable experience. Orgasm can occur for the bottom when being fisted, even if his cock is soft.
Fisting is widely seen as a symbol of masculine strength. It involves pushing your personal limits and for some men, the feeling of a man’s fist deep inside him cannot be beaten.
For men who are new to fisting, there are a few simple things to consider. Most men douche prior to reduce mess, and it is recommended that the fister or top, cut his nails and remove jewelry to reduce the risk of tearing. Practice first with large dildos or butt-plugs to practice stretching and relaxing your arse. You can never use enough lube.
Always take it slow and don’t rush the act, as it will take time for the bottoms arse to relax and stretch far enough for the fist to be properly inserted. For anyone who is new to the world of fisting, try and do it with someone who has had experience and knows what they are doing, but above all else, someone you can trust.
A ‘fluffer’ is someone employed on a porn shoot to ensure the production’s male stars are ‘aroused’ before filming. This usually involves oral sex, but not always.
A raunchy 2001 film drama called The Fluffer light-heartedly explored the porn industry. Take a look at its trailer below.
There for you as a ‘go-to guy’ or girl when you’re feeling horny, a fuck-buddy is regular sex partner, with all the sexual perks of a boyfriend or girlfriend, but no romance and certainly no ‘relationship’. It’s just ‘friends with benefits’!
Having a no-strings-attached partner for a once-a-week hook-up might seem idyllic, but as always with affairs of the heart/loins, there can be dramas if one of the people involved starts to feel something a little deeper for their sexy mate. After all, sex can be a powerful uniting force and may initiate stronger feelings of attachment after repeated sessions. Usually fuck buddies may never meet other people in their sex partner’s lives, never stay the night, or never socialise with them in any other way.
Also, just because you’re seeing someone regularly, it doesn’t mean they’re committed to you in any way, and you may be one of several people encountering your lover – so keep up your safe sex standards.
