I'm looking for someone keen to move into a two-bedroom apartment/terrace/townhouse in mid- to late- October, preferably in Surry Hills... because sharing with someone else is so much cheaper than living alone. I'm not originally from Sydney, so my share options are limited (and sharing with a colleague sounds like a recipe for disaster).

I'm a 27 year old professional (and artist when not in the office) with two cats. I've got furniture and appliances for a whole apartment, except for the second bedroom. I'm tidy, friendly, and have a pretty low-key social life. You're more likely to find me painting, or having a friend over for a bottle of wine, than hosting a party, although I'm not anti-socialising either!

Open to pretty much any age, gender, sexuality... it's more about the person.

I'd be looking at finding someone willing to co-sign a lease. The places currently available indicate we'd be spending between $250 and $300 each, per week. Something like this (http://www.realestate.com.au/cgi-bin/rsearch?a=o&id=404005191&f=0&p=10&t=ren&ty=&fmt=&header=&cc=&c=12906424&s=nsw&snf=rbs&tm=1248047159) or this (http://www.realestate.com.au/cgi-bin/rsearch?a=o&id=401846730&f=0&p=10&t=ren&ty=&fmt=&header=&cc=&c=12906424&s=nsw&snf=rbs&tm=1248047159) would be brilliant.

I know October is a fair way off yet, but I'm keen to suss out if this is a viable option.

Send me a private message if you're even vaguely interested, or have any questions.

Cheers,
Jen
