I have never done anything like this before (blog, forum, anything), but I'm a writer (well, trying to be) and I'd love to chat to other gay writers. Does anyone write poetry? It's become a bit of a dying art but it's my main passion. :D

I write poetry, mainly observational, inner-thought kinda stuff...

I do that too, but my favourite style is writing kids stories; fantastical fables that have a moral or teach them something about the world. Where do you get your inspiration to write? I seen to get mine when I'm in the bath...

This may sound silly but I get inspiration from my poetry when I do the daily crossword. The focal word/idea of the poem is the clue that I'm stumped on and can't get right.
