Look, I've been hiding it all week, but I am actually a wee bit excited for this weekend. There's SOOO much happening - I think you'd be hard pressed to have a bad time :D

Anyway, I just wanted to wish everyone a happy weekend, whatever you're up to. If you're in NSW it's a Looooooong weekend - so enjoy the extra time off (if you get it, that is!)

And whatever you do, do it safely. Wear a seatbelt. Don't speed on the roads. Practise safe sex & look after your friends.

But most importantly... HAVE FUN!

I'm actually officially shitting myself right about now. In an hour I have to present 2 years worth of my research to a room full of scientists. Never had to present to people who actually know more than I do before and I'm scared.

I have already spilled coffee all down my shirt so I'm not sure whether that is going to endear me to them or just make me look terrible.

I have done my quiff extra high today to distract them from the content of my presentation. Hopefully that'll work.

So once I get through the next 2 hours I can relax and let the weekend roll on.

At the begining of this week I was dreading this long weekend untill last night when I was dragged out of my house to go and have dinner with some friends in Newtown. Anyway There was a couple of new people there in which I totally was not in the mood to start and hold a conversation with, but there was one guy there whom caught my attention by the way he held himself, the way he spoke, very polite and well mannered and mentally was challenging me which I found incredibly sexy.
This guy was completely unexpected which was a pleasent surprise and he was even that much of a gentlemen that he asked if he could kiss me goodnight (oh by the way he was an amazing kisser). We exchange details and left it at that.

This morning I'm getting ready for work when I recieve a msg from him saying "today is your day, now make it someone else's day too". Which totally inspired me. He also asked if he could see me this weekend in which I haven't replied yet but totally thinking HELL YEAH!

Sooo looking forward to this weekend now :)

So glad that is over.

My hair dazzled them. Good number of questions and I could answer most of them without much assistance from supervisor. I was so nervous. Never been that nervous before public speaking.
