Hi, im new to this website. The reason i'm logging in here is to get some useful info or help regarding the De facto partnership visa. I been do some reserch about the De fcato partnership visa for the pass few months. It said must be staying with the partner in Austarlia for at leat 12 months period + fullffling the others requirement then only qualify to submit the application. But now me me and my partner are far apart, he is staying at Adeliade. We get to know each other for about 6 months time, but we are not staying together. Undertstanding that contact thru emailing/phone doesnt count as a 12 months relationship. Missing each other is going to drive me crazy. Can anyone give me some advice in order on how can i grant the at least 12 months visa legally staying at Australia? Without the 12 months staying together, i dont think me and him can move forward to submit application of the De factor partnership visa. Looking forward to you guy help.
