Idol won't be back next year and if it is then I won't be, the show has gone downhill since season 3 anyhow.

This years talent on Idol is really scraping the barrel, No wonder the judges are fighting... Idol has proven over and over again real talent is NOT discovered this way.. Mark Holden is living proof..

I think Mark should leave aswell and they should have a judge thats one of the public that buys music as knows what young people want. Not All has been music people

Hhmmm I actually think that the talent on this season is much better than most. I do think that Marcia is a pain in the arse on there though, she just says the same thing over and over again and rarely gives any constructive feedback. She gives me the irrits. And Mark Holden? Well, I'm not even going to go there! What is that hair, by the way?!?! He's so wrong!

Hmmm, I think the talent is a little less good than previous years... I enjoy the balance that Marcia brings to the table... and if you listen closely she always has an opinion that she voices. She's just a little less enthusiastic if she didn't like something.

Holden keeps people watching because he's so out of touch its not funny, so people watch to see the next antic he pulls! I think there is too much testosterone at the table this year though. Something's gotta give, and I don't know exactly what that is...

the song choices are what bothers me the most. who the hell are the trying to appeal to?? not my generation, that's for sure... and probably not the younger gen either. it's schmucko this year. *spits*

Idol is dull dull dull this year... dicko and holden pontificating as though they really have any idea... a karoake premium rate cash cow for channel 10 masquerading as a talent quest... i feel sorry for the contestants - some of them really have got talent but i don't think this is the way to get their message out to the world...

Sorry Lukehn, but how on earth does Marcia ever voice an opinion? Ok, sorry, i'll admit she did say something worthwhile last week to one of them. I noticed.

But the rest of the time, she just sits on the fence and often doesn't even comment on their performance!

eg "I can see you're doing the best you can up there honey, well done"
or
"If you love the music then you can feel the music, you know what I'm sayin? Well done honey."

WHAT THE?

Ok, so she didn't say those things, i just made them up... but can't you just imagine her saying them?? :)

She says shit like that ALL THE TIME! Especially the ones that end with "you know what I'm sayin?"...
I would LOVE for someone once to say 'Actually Marcia, no. I don't have a clue what you just said!'.

How funny would that be?

Ah... it's good to see that people are insulting the Aust. Idol judges... the show insults itself really.

This years idol really has the be the WORST of them all. Like Marcus says ...a karaoke cash cow..its about ratings..not necessarily the talent (obviously) thats why theres all this publicity about Miss Marcia leaving, cause the ratings are so low Ch10 has to try and boost it to make people want to watch. The talent this year...well, if thats the BEST they could find???? Goddess help us all.
