can we please improve people searching...

As the member numbers grow on the site can we hope to see a better search engine to at least include a city or area? Browsing alphabetically already takes hours. :-P Thanks.

What exactly do you want to look for? People in your area? People you know? etc etc

Hi there - I had the same thoughts - it would be great to at least be able to search for people by the city they are in.
Also, I haven't been able to search people by looking for keywords that they have used in their bio and interests.
When I go to search for people, I can select the serach by "bio and interests" button, but I cannot deselect the search by "username" button. So if I am looking for people interested in, say, hiking, I can't find them unless that word is also in their username. Is that a problem with the site or my machine?
Have just noted other postings re bugs when using Safari on Mac, which I am.
