My favourite work of art is Brett Whiteley's 'Alchemy.' When I first saw it in the gallery, I was immediately enthralled by it. The thing is really, really big. Height-wise, its like a tall room. It wowed me so much that I decided that I wanted to paint something that amazing one day. And so from then on, I devoted myself to pursuing the wonderfully beautiful world of art.

I really, really like this. I like it so much that years later, I photoshopped an anteater into one of Whiteley's other paintings because I simply remembered the impact it had on me.

it changes all the time. At the moment nearly anything by Maurice Denis. "The Cheats" by Carravagio was my favourite for a while and I still love it. I'm a fan of Franz Marc as well.

I like just about anything by impressionists. By the way so you have to a bloke to be part of this thread because I am a lesbian.
