JKR's books are already in trouble in the United States of Jesus already for containing "super natural" themes, I wonder what they will resort now. A good 'ol night of book burning?

blah, yuck, couldn't it have been Harry. I hate Harry Potter and have never read a single book and I'm sick of pretending to care when people talk to me for ages about them.

LOL @ “A homosexual lifestyle is a harmful one. That’s proven, medically.”

Why has she tried??? I haven't had any harmful effects yet...

As for Dumbledore.... as if it matters if hes gay or not... i mean its not like there is a chapter of the book where he shows Harry all the other magical things he can do with his wand.

I love how adults think that children will pick up on things like 2 men loving each other. Thankfully little kids don't have such a jaded view of the world. They would see it as completely normal like loving their own best friend.

People can be so backward and stupid.....

How low is JK rowling?
Outing a fictional charactor?
Surely readers could read and make up their own minds without having to be told.
or are we now supposed to be grateful?

Chad i don't really think this defines as a low act. If you think about it J.K Rowling had ever right to do or say what she did.

This is her world we are experiencing. Its her story and she can take the characters down whatever path she chooses.

J.K Rowling in her own ways is an artist and artists reflect and make comments on the current trends and day to day activities in society

Dumbledoor being Gay is merely a reflection on how society is slowly accepting on a 'spoken' level that their are homesexuals in all walks of life.

The only thing that is low is people who react and say that children will be ruined or tainted by the mere fact a person is gay. Children aren't usually biased, they don't really see the world like that. Its just people with small minds trying to make up for their own short comings.

To tell you the truth I really don't care ... I never read harry potter because of Dumbledore's sexuality.
