I think we talked about a few alternatives; check the two 'Search' buttons in the top right hand corner.

I've done laser, no problem with it. They're advertising a new laser that you supposedly can't feel, I haven't tried it but then the other didn't bother me. I've also seen they're selling home laser kits ($1000...but then I probably spent that much getting it at salons) but I don't know how effective they are.

Maybe try another laser. A friend is having some at the moment. Some very mild
prickling but thats it.
Do you dose up on a strong painkiller beforehand ?
Laser is the way to go. Girl that cuts my hair had her underarms done and said it took 4 sessions and now nothing.
I'm gonna investigate next year. As you get older unwanted hairs do appear and I have been pretty hairless all my life.

Some people have way too many perks which makes it unfair for those who have fuck all.
Perks are not always where we would like them to be.
Think yourself lucky if you have any Perks at all!
Perks come and go, they should not be taken for granted if you have them.
And someone kindly inform me why am I writing nonsense that makes me sound like LB after 2 cones and half a bottle of vodka?

Laser really is the best - but did the machine have a cooler?
When I cared what I looked like and had credit cards to pay someone else to pluck the hairs from my chocolate starfish, I looked into laser, and the majority of them at the time weren't fitted with a cooling device, so on sensitive skin it wreaked havoc. Apparently laser machines with coolers are (or were, at the time) double the price, but had next to no side effects, didn't burn and still did just as an effective job. There isn't really anything else except Nair, but thats the same as shaving and the regrowth is just as bad.
My ex gf was fijian and she was forever grooming to keep it all from coming back. Her fur was pretty stubborn, however she spent about $7k doing her whole body and she honestly swears by it, only having a single stray hair every 3 months or so. She hasn't had to shave her legs or punani in 3 years, and whenever she tells people that she damn near starts rubbing herself. It's expensive, but when you're forever waxing the shit off, to not have to ever do it again is worth the money, and the pain, if any.

$7k my god....too bad they didn't have the home machine back then, they are only $1000.

yeah but even now they aren't as effective as the commercial machines which can cost in excess of $100k. Like teeth bleaching kits. They're about one fifteenth the strength of the dentist's stuff because they need to account for idiot consumers who might not use it correctly or appropriately. With laser home kits, they wouldn't slap their brand on something anyone could actually hurt themselves with, which is why the proper machine's operator needs to be qualified. and $7k isn't really that much, when its a couple of hundy per body part/section, per session, and when multiple sessions are required weeks apart.
did the smart thing though - she was 21, got a couple of credit cards and payed for it with that, got a personal loan for a car that she put in my name and then went bankrupt lol so it cost her a 6 months worth of loan repayments ;)
Still swears by it... however it's a little risky as when you get laser it kills the active follicles, not the dormant ones. In most cases the dormant ones can stay dormant for a very long time, if not forever, but as hair is hormonal a major hormonal shift can wake them up which can include pregnancy or substantial weight loss/gain.
Any skin specialist will run through all that with you though... Happy to be me, have you gone and spoken to anyone about hair removal? I'm sure if you went to a dermatologist or a reputable beauty therapist they'd be able to run through your options available for your skin type... no doubt they'll even advise you of a few that samesamers aren't even aware of.

Im going to bleach and trim it and with all my scars from my accident i guess its the least of my worries thanks for all advice its been a major problem and i guess confidence helps any situation ! xoxo
