Hey there,
I am thinking of heading down to Blonde on the Rocks friday 2 Nov however i have no idea what time to turn up so its not sad but there is no cue. I ahven't been before so am curious....any ideas girls?

I haven't been before either and i've been told early is better. Sometimes you can meet cool people in lines when you're by yourself, other times you'll just be bored. Personally i'd rather be bored at the bar drinking than bored in line with cliquiness all round me so knowing how the Melbourne lesbian scene rolls i'm going in early :)

Sounds like a plan - i am not a big one for sitting in the cue trying to look extra "clique". I much prefer to watch the traffic coming in...:)
Then I can play that great game "spot the ex/one night stand"...:)

What a funny fucking night!!! Hope you had a blast piggles. I went by myself and had the randomest time. Definitely the best vibe of any lesbian night i've been to, it almost felt like a gay club :)

Me too had a great night - it was packed to the rafters. Got there at 11pm thinking if it get there too early i will be scottie at the bar and lo and behold a sea of bonds t shorts and singlets as far as the eye can see (and many sensible shoes)...

I had a ball altho could have coped with slightly harder music.

Over 6 foot, off my face, dancing the night away :) I coulda done with some harder music too, actually. All that relentless disco started getting a bit boring to me, but looked like most of the chicks were still loving it so what the hey.

Oh yeah, and i was in the trusty Bond's too heh

Nope did not end up getting there myself. Had babysitter issues so maybe next time.
BTW i agree with your comments about the Peel - coat it in sugar or whatever else you want to call it - but the place is no longer very welcoming to dykes.

Oh well we shall see what is on next.
