Oxford Street Safe Space

You can contribute to reclaiming Oxford St as a safe place for our community.
On 23 November ACON and the City of Sydney are opening a shop front on Oxford St to take reports and support victims of homophobic violence.



Volunteer Opportunities
Help staff the shop at peak times (Friday and Saturday 11pm-2am and 2am -5am)
Help paint the space at our working bee on 10 November or donate furniture to make it welcoming.

WHERE: 60 Oxford Street.
WHEN: Saturday November 10th from 11am - 3pm.
WHAT TO WEAR: Something you don't mind getting dirty.

Paid Work Opportunity

Stay awake and alert to coordinate teams of volunteers to work through Friday and Saturday nights. If you have great people and organisational skills and won't miss your bed or the dancefloor for two nights each week get in touch.
