god i'm sick of all these religious fanatics ... its like a new one a week ... this time an old fav the catholics. (though i did read somewhere that catholics were the MOST accepting form of christianity in regards to homosexuality ... and baptists least.)

Anyone who dresses up in colourful silk gowns and stands in front of crowds should know better than to try to talk down the gay community.
This vile and decaying remnant of history is the reason Catholics are leaving the church in droves. I hope he lives to see a pregnant single Catholic Lesbian Cardinal of Sydney presiding over a gay wedding in that cathedral.

...and one of the boys getting married is the transsexual son of the madam president of the Republic of Australia. The massively popular prime minister is watching from the side admiring the floral bouquets he designed for the wedding and his wife gave away the other boy because he is the son from her first marriage.

As someone who was foreced into the Catholic church as a child and who endured unwanted attention from a hideous Christian brother at a country Catholic school, I reckon George Pell is an utter hypocrite who should look at his own organisation before criticising anyone else.
Just as he has looked back to the past, in the future people will look back to the past and see what an idiot he is. That said, who the f*ck needs the church's approval anyway?

I am trying to think of something nice to say about Pell. My mother says you should only speak good of the dead, so when George Pell is dead, I for one will be saying " good"

Isnt it strange that neo nazis can get locked up for spreading hate, yet a church leader can without any recrimination?

Perhaps George is looking back at the churches glory days.....No not only the dark ages but in recent history when an archbishop controlled australian politics and ran prostitution and gambling in melbourne.
ahhh the power and money
