I thought that was normal practice on websites to adjust your age downwards by five years......

Nah, the MySpace vs Facebook debate is a sham. They are both being ridden for money. Look out for next-gen social websites.

MySpace is acting like Fitness First - I tried to delete my account, but apparently you have to wait for a cancellation confirmation email. Which, of course, never arrived.

^^ i had the same problem when i tried to change my email address recently. So i posted a support request on the actual website, made sure i was really clear and helpful - sure enough in a couple days they sorted it out.

I shamelessly use MySpace to my advantage. I never visit or purchase from advertisers; but quite happy to store my photos and messages on their database. Rupert will be pleased!
