ummmmm , so all these movies are all ready out on dvd ?
why pay a cinema double the price to watch them
hazyinseptember
18th March 2010, 01:39 AM
really? where do you buy your dvds from for 7$? :D
You would be very hard pressed to find all, or even most of these titles on DVD, but if you prefer sitting at home to going out with friends to see a movie then awesome!

YAY!! less than a week to go!
I had the pleasure of a sneak peak for some of the flicks! here is my run down
Eating Out 3:- Very, very funny and naughty.. the straight man seduction scene is brilliant, and the first 2 min of the movie had us rolling around the floor in laughter.
Pornography:- Excellent horror/supernatural thriller that sits somewhere between David Lynch and The Grudge. If you like it creepy and dream like this is a must see!
The Prodigal Sons:- Excellent, if difficult to watch. Prodigal Sons tracks the transgender film makers return home after many years to catch up with her openly gay brother and mentally challenged adopted christian brother.
expect some proper reviews up soon from the awesome brisbane samesame team :D

I watched "An Englishman in New York" on ABC last weekend. Its a good movie but I would not pay the price ($16) to see it at the film festival having now seen it for free on tv.

Hi - yes, indeed... shall loiter for a bit, though I must scoot off at some point for a friend's show, elsewhere. Am at the Powerhouse each Fri night in April, though.
Oh, am glad you enjoy the tune, btw.
See you around

Even though it ** College Boys Live (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_Ll-yh-cZU) ** was slightly trashy (and almost even B grade at times) Monday nights 9pm movie at the BQFF2010 wasn't too bad and even quite funny at times (in a weird kind of way) ;)

Well opening night was great..
The movie, 'Mr Right', was not too bad at all.. edging between drama and comedy quite well with some very loveable characters.. almost like another take on Queer As Folk..
Opening party was quite good with some great theming and lighting.. music was particularly good. Here are some photos of samesamers that i knew...
Scott Spark .. who was excellent!!!

Wow, 'College Boys Live' was an eye-opener hahaha. Veeeery trashy and I don't think I've seen so many bitch fights, even on lezzo night at the beat. Feel sorry they don't even get paid to do it! lol. Also saw 'Mr. Right' which was pretty entertaining! :)
