Best dance party I've been to in years!!
- Alot less drugs (thank god!)
- alot more diversity (huge cross section of GLBT community)
- straights and blow-ins who were more respectful
- actual popular music instead of harder dance music
Sure a few things could be improved,
why the delayed entry?
why not use lead floats to perform in betters setting, and grander costumes to "perform" on podiums throughout night?
I hope it comes back next year!!!

Really? I thought it was horrible.
The queue to get in was unorganised and people kept pushing in. The Forum was packed and was hard to move around. The Dome had decent music but was way too hot. $5 for a bottle of water was a bit much and the vibe was a little flat.

There was well-signed free water at numerous bars.

I know but it wasn't that cold, so I bought it instead. Granted it was 600ml as opposed to that in nightclubs.

I had a great time - forum mood wasnt really good for me
But loved the DOME - dealt with the heat just in and out every 15-20 minutes for a cool down - good dancing with friennds.
Outside area was nifty and good to relax - and the vibe from everyone was just really fun.

I thought it took awhile to kick in. For more than an hour people seemed to be wandering around looking for something that wasn't there. I ran into friends that were leaving and I thought about following but decided to persevere. Glad I did. Even though it wasn't a party everybody eventually decided to act as if it was. The Dome looked amazing with all the fairy lights and the music was great. Agree that it was the wrong entrance to use and I expected more stalls. Fair Day at night? I don't think so. For a real carnival atmosphere I'd say open up Bent Street, the Fox and Lion etc. But I also suspect a lot more people turned up than NMG were expecting which is a good sign.

Didn't like any of it.
Beer was set up for American travellers, not anyone else. Me hate. Ugh.
The Dance floors seemed to be for men only. Sorry if it wasn't the intention, but that's the way it seemed, from the music to, well, everything. My girlfriend and I won't bother next year. We'll leave it to our male mates, who had an okay time (but hated the music).
