I agree with marko ... and hey at least shes trying to get the gay vote (crap tatics but still an effort). Currently in my political division (fairfax) it feels like everyones given up trying to win it from the current useless leader. So its good to see a person try and win a seat ... then again it could be one of those famous marginal seats that gets all the attention.

Marginal seats.....One would think the electing public would naturally be swinging voters.But instead we have this safe seat mentality.I would suggest the safe seats were created by the two parties colluding to ensure they both remain relevant in the political scene.After all when have you heard of either side putting up a great candidate and spending the dosh to try and gain safe seat from the opposing party.It seems the only ones being played are the public.

Chad I agree. And since i'm in a safe seat I can tell you it is really annoying when you hate the current member but the opposition is mute and quite frankly lame. Funny thing is I'm in Rudd's homeland and you would imagine he would try hard to win the seat where he came from.
