My first Dance Party was Toybox this year (Mardi Gras weekend) and it was amazing. I thank my dear friend Gary for introducing me to the wonderful experience that is Toybox.
With this is mind, I am saddened by the passing of one the Co-founders-your talents will be missed greatly.
Condolences to Brett's family and friends and those of you who were touched in some way by the magic of Brett's creativity. Higgins

Very sad. It is a pity his energy gone. Lets hope Andy pushes on. But the parasitic relationship of toybox parties on to Mardi Gras really needs to be addressed. Heres to the future.

I knew Brett for the last 25 years - from Dubbo to Darlinghurst. I worked with him at McDonalds, lived with him in Balmain, and was proud to have the only gay in the village in my bridal party. I'm looking at the opera house & harbour bridge painting that he did for me in '91 that hangs pride of place in my home office. I'll miss your bullshit Ron, love Bessie.

My condolences to Andy and Brett's family. While I did not know him personally, Toybox was a major part of my coming out and I am grateful to him and Andy for that. May he rest in peace.
