i didn't read, but for me, being dyke-ish, i find it harder as everyone seems to be femme =/

Not much of a femme myself, but it was fascinating and a whole new perspective for me because I didn't even realise this issue existed. Like pheonix, most of the lesbians I know are femmes. I've always felt like a bit of an outsider amongst them.
I liked the girl who was saying that just because she's more of 'girly girl' doesn't mean she takes a back seat, or isn't aggressive. I thought it was a great point. Seems like everywhere there is that effort to reinforce traditional gender roles.

I never saw myself as Femme, but after watching this...
Actually, I don't quite understand all this stuff. Why do women classify themselves? I like butchy women, but then I can swing. Depends on the energy of the girl, not necessarily how they identify or classify themselves.
