like me and on line lists

when i go to the on line now list all the entries say they were on line about an hour ago
when i go to on line list the entries have nothing in common with me - gender, city,
not having much successusing same same

hey patrick,

the online now list is pretty darn accurate, as you would know, some of our pages, like the massive news features could take a while to read through, so we just take a wild guess and say that if you have refreshed a page in the last 30 mins, then we consider you to be online... its not as though we can go around to everyones place and check to see if they're still chatting to their new found friends...

and another point, the online now list are just people online, they may have no relevance to you what so ever, well... other than that you're both looking that the hottest new site on the block!?

I'm guessing that Azza's explanation of February 07 explains why people are listed as being online now even though they're not.

And I'm also guessing that people are listed as being online even though they out and about with their mobile in their pocket.
