Buffy Season 8?

I am a nerd. I have no illusion of this.
It's the computer age, nerds are in. (They're still in right? )

I'm a major Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, and am currently an avid reader of Buffy Season 8 comic books.

I was wondering if there are any GLBT people in Perth who are also reading the comics, as I would love to start a group online to discuss the comics as they come out.

Hey ashtroboy, I've definitely been reading and enjoying Season 8 (as well as many other non-Buffster titles). So count me in.

How have you found it thus far?

To begin with, I loved it - that scene with Buffy jumping out of the helicopter with her squad.

But things got a little whacky with Dawn etc, and I soon learnt the writers were grabbing mythical characters left right and centre to include in their story - taking advantage of the fact that they have an endless budget for effects and makeup when it's pen to paper.

But I've still loved it - I have a fricken Buffy B tattoo, so I'm not about to turn my back because I can't think outside the box.

And I'm loving Buffy as a superhero!

Hey Ashtroboy, you are like my new bestie! Lmao. I am Buffy mad! Seasons (obviously!) books, magazines, figurines.. Also, yes. Nerds are so in. :)
I haven't actually read the comics, although I wouldnt mind getting my hands on them. Im a fan of all things Joss, so jah. Sometimes I wish I could go all 'Misery' on Joss and tie him up and...crush his feet, until he produces more Seasons. :D
