In my personal opinion this didn't really do what it set itself up to do and plays to certain stereotypes between both cities. It might have worked better if it were two people writing letters to each other rather than random letters back and forth.

agree! im totally up for a piss take of both scenes but this just didnt hit the spot...to me it comes across as a little too simplistic and in the end just sounds bitter.

i also wont buy some melb vs syd thing if thats how im supposed to respond..i love both scenes.

That was not related specifically to lesbians but I am over the fucking pathetic petty bullshit that goes with the scene...I feel like a lone roving Queerpunk drifitng from bar to gig to party and the scene just cannot cater to my tastes... the second I am seen as a punk its like I do it for fetish or "aww that's so cute!"
