I'm still trying to identify with my new life..

Funny story,
I got all dressed up alternate like and had coffee at the local cafe ..

I walked home and was "picked up' by a elderly greek man!!:o

LOL!

I thought my theme was - 'Hey, im lesbian...'
Though must have been' Hey i'm a nanna or i love old men!!'

Maybe he was lonely? but really stuffed my confidence levels..NB scared to try dressing "gay' now!

Anyone else have a quirky anecdote to share??:)

Or some dressing guidelines to Les me up???:D

hmm I do tend to get hit on by older men tho so I guess I can relate. Including one guy who asked me to come back to his hotel room with him after playing a game of pool and when I refused he started to cry and said that women could always tell he couldn't get it up!

Then he touched me on the shoulder i said im a bitsa ! got a bit of all cultures in me laughed and walked off...weird?

Hahaha.. it's kind of a blow to the confidence right?

I got it the other day.. I was reading my lesbian book and feeling all "don't need men" and this group of young guys were actually wolf whistling from across the carpark as I was walking to the train station. Then they started calling out to the two construction workers walking in front of me "look behind you guys!" *Dies* I wanted to yell back "if only I liked men..." If I did I'd want them about twice their age anyway. I was dressed for an interview which is going to be pretty standard feminine, but hey, I was thinking gay thoughts, couldn't they tell?

Interview went well! Will find out Monday/Tuesday. It's not the end of the world if I don't get it though, there are more to apply for! But it would be nice..

I went and saw a real estate recruitment agency yesterday and she wanted to bet me I'd have a job by Monday! Said there are so many jobs around and such a shortage, so good news for me!

i love when i get really dressed up and go to a gay club and get asked if im a tranny. why not

i dont love getting hit on by male bouncers when im at a lesbian night, clearly hanging out with all lesbians, and ...in my eyes..clearly a lesbian.

i guess people thinking im hot isnt really that bad. ive chosen to no longer discriminate and accept all compliments.

This is quite interesting, cos I have had a very different experience... men never hit on me at all. I've always been amazed by the way they seem to be able to tell that I have no interest in them. Maybe I emit lesbian pheromones or something.

only old men and bogans hit on me. It's depressing. I think it's the glasses. The old men think I look innocent and 'bookish' and the bogans think I'm either easy to seduce due to the nerdiness of the glasses, or will improve the next generation of their children by not being inbred and mildly intelligent

That's just amazing! You can never know what attracts people.

I never really had to date before, my relationships came from people around me. They knew me, so there was no question about "first impression" or attraction or anything.
Now trying to make friends, maybe something new, and I'm in the same dilemma:
Skirts with nice top or hiking boots - sporty style? Both are me, and I'm not in the age, when I would wear them at the same time.
sometimes I'm girly, sometimes look like Samanta Carter (but not blond)
