Needing to vent.

I met this person (refuse to use the word lady she doesn't deserve it) on line and we exchanged mobile phone numbers.

Within 24 hours there had been 46 texts, numerous emails and we had chated using IM.

I was told I couldn't talk to anyone else and she threw a hissy fit when she found out I had spoken to someone. Again she threw another hissy when I said I was going on line and didn't.

When I told her to remove my phone number from her phone, I received another 6 txts.

Since then I have blocked her where possible.

Now I ask you ladies, Is this a bit obsessive or not? Please keep in mind that I have never met this person in a physical kind of way.

Because she thought this was normal and not obsessive or possessive in any way.

GGGRRRRRRRrrrrrr

Are you wearing catnip perfume or something sweets? Maybe you should invest in a water spray gun, that's how you toilet train kitties isn't it??? Should work on neurotic lesbians by my logic.

A high pressure water canon wouldn't give her the hints she needed. :)

How did you let it excalate to this point anyway? The first 10 message's should have tipped you off. Were you replying to the crazy?

No I wasn't replying. So messages went like

Where are you?
What's happening?
Why haven't you replied?
Is something wrong?

And so on. I mean like every 5 -10 mins. So even if I wanted to reply there was not time. I had to keep deleting messages because my inbox keep filling up.

I only knew this person for 48 hours max and that was enough. By the way she is NOT a person on SS - thank the gods

That's not just obsessive, that's absolutely insane!

I'd run a mile if anyone tried that on me. And then when I'd run a mile, I'd probably change my name and go in to witness protection lol!

I blame the technology. If she had to pick up the phone and talk to you it would have been different...or maybe not. There are some very kooky people out there.

Whilst on phone to her, she was sending emails and IM at the same time. I know some weird people - all those at SS excluded from that comment.

OMG....and she is not even your ex...imagine how worse it could be.

I'm glad I don't have a crazy ex :o She's a dear one even if she cuts me deep, i've heard horror ex stories.

I'm sorry to hear that shechef, next time hey...shame that she is going to pinkalicious. I think for the sake of it you should go anyway. There's plenty of us who will surround and protect you of her.

Huggggggggggggggssssssssssssss

Thanks so much paxie. I need the hugs. I'm not sure if she is going I'm just not wanting to run into her and then ruin everyone's night.

Do you mean I could have my own posse? Can you bring down a raging pyscho easily? I have her address, maybe we could all go and egg her place!!!

Stop me now the thoughts of revenge are becoming too great. I might accidently on purpose leave her phone number and her name here so everyone can taunt her. Nah now that wouldn't be right - would it?

The minute emotions or lust are involved- people get stupid and will even develop the need to eat your liver and convince themselves it's "love"

Three words - A. V. O.

That's not insecure and clingy that's psychotic and obsessive.

I think you already know the answer!

Good on you for blocking her on whatever platforms you can. Just don't respond to the texts, don't feed the fire! I'm sure she'll realise you're no fun and start harassing someone else :)

No need to feel anger, just feel pity. How sad for her. You can disconnect her at any time you want, but she probably can't stop acting that way at the drop of a hat.

At present I feel quite liberated.

My phone has been silent for 24 hours now and it is wonderful. I'm not taking calls from any number I don't know and I'm about the have a hot bubble bath, hop into jammies and crawl into a warm bed.

Hopefully the hell has stopped or at least disappeared for a while.

I'm just so glad that others think this behaviour is weird also.

Thanks

Wow... She sounds really insecure. But it's weird, 'cos you've just met her on the net not long ago.

Good thing you blocked her. :)

Sounds scary!

I hope she doesn't know where you live or anything. Be careful, stalkers are mental. As someone else mentioned, if it gets worse get an AVO.

I've never had an ex go psycho on me, but I had a so called friend who did. She somehow thought we were in a relationship, when all we were was friends. She went absolutely eight ball crazy arsed nuts on me!

At first she seemed like a funny and kind person who was also needing a little positive reassurance from a friend. However, shit started to get weird. She was in another state and would call and text me all the time, sometimes at stupid hours of the night and just yap away at me and ask me when she could see me next in a whining tone. I tried to tell her that it was innappropriate and creepy, but she wouldn't listen. I was at the point of involving the police, when she found out I was dating a nice young woman. She went mental and started swearing and threatening me and slagged me off big time on Facebook, accusing me of all sorts of things (I've since blocked her, but I heard that she is still writing horrible things about me). We were never even in a relationship! I was kind to her and helped her out as a friend, and in her crazy mind she thought that this meant we were in a relationship. To this day, I am frightened of making new friends and trusting people.

On another note, a few years ago I met a nice girl in a club. We chatted for a while, got to know each other and had a few laughs. We swapped numbers, as we didn't know many other queers in town.

When I phoned her for a chat after we had texted for a while during the week, she sounded awkward and not at all how when we had talked in person. She would only communicate with me via text! I can only imagine that she had chemical courage that night, was seeing someone or was shy and preferred texting.

People are weird, but technology has made it weirder and easier for the um, weirdos!

P.S. Fuck Facebook!

It sounds like you know the same sort of person down to a tee. Technology certainly allows weirdos to communicate with a wider audience.

I did threaten her with an AVO and this stopped the text messages after another 2.

I hope I have another quiet day today without texts and strange phone calls. If worse comes to worse I'll just change my phone number. Easy and quick to do. I need a new phone anyway so why not get a new number as well.

I don't believe that pigeon does know where I live. She is just having you on, so as to cover up her failings. If she knew where I lived, I would have my beautiful shiny prize by now.

So I feel quite safe ;)

again agree baby. shechef seriously you have to ask if this is normal? come on your smarter than that.

never give numbers to online chicks, you can organise to meet or whatever on IM so why bother.
