Hi! I've just discovered this site's existence from when I clicked on a link from Facebook.
I have been in the Mardi Gras once, in the late 90's. I seek soulful friends who like to know about the world and people. I am vegan and caring for animals.
Not looking for a relationship, just for friends on the wavelength range of where I emanate.
For work I do casual work for other artists as a life model, and work at home on illustration, music, writing, animation, and want to explore creating my own graphic novels. An inspiration is Elektra, although the work is shorter more like a comic. Catwoman is also inspiring as the recent graphic novels included a kissing scene with Catwoman's sidekick and her love interest. Also into Dr Strange for the spiritual theme and the amazing presentation of every page. I got into HotHead Paisan Homicidal Lesbian Terrorist by Di Dimassi years ago too, although I am not a collector of the work or very knowledgeable about it. I just recall some scenes of the one that I bought and read then.
I was involved in a collaborative Queer art project when I lived in the inner city when I was a lot younger. This modern world is very hard to fight when my gifts are encouraged, when I still don't entirely like the thought of eco destruction stemming from my creation artistically. I try to do my art more ecologically these days although I am nothing near the handmade natural fibres type of art or craft. As my style is to do a lot of human figures and characters, as well as insects and animals.
