I am 31, a woman with no kids, not pregnant, and have just been to hospital because I haven't been able to stop peeing.
It has been in slight amounts all the time, of a sudden onset, and a very frequent need to go to the loo, maybe 10 times in 3 hours. It is very exhausting already as I have chronic fatigue syndrome.
I was given basic UTI tests, that came back all clear. There are some further tests for Pelvic Inflammatory Disease that will be in tomorrow.
Does anyone know of a good womens health practitioner - allopathic or otherwise - who can help me? I am able to get to Sydney, am closer to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie or the Central Coast.
May Buddha, God and Sif bless all

I've been tested for diabetes and nothing. tested for UTI and nothing. tested for chlamydia, wait and see tomorrow if I can manage to sleep alright tonight after sleeping from almost midday today after being up all night in hospital..tested for EBV back in 2007 when i first got symptoms of chronic fatigue. tested for thyroid problems. pretty much tested everyday if you know what I mean.
the possibility of chronic fatigue relating to an undiscovered or disbelieved virus is also possible as the symptoms are typically diagnosed as just a virus by gp's. and then the person goes on and on with this same thread of disease..i reckon it could be right and there has to be antiviral treatment. I am trying with garlic and chilli and all sorts of food everyday to improve my circulation - ice feet, thats not acceptable - and doing tai chi tomorrow i will try out my new tai chi sword made of wood! if i am up to it, but it isn;t really that taxing and is great for energetic self defense and to remove blocks of energy that you don't want there blocking off your light and vital sustenence..
I am feeling better and have noticed a physical shift on my body, my pelvic area has relaxed more, and was very tensed up..I'm taking two types of antibiotics and have my daily bacteria balancing tablet plus all the others..apparently to avoid iron is a good thing because a bad bacterial infection will breed and feed off the iron. even though I am a vegan.. i have gone without it before..maybe even just for a few days although it is risky with my low bp and blood platelet count is low...sick of being sick.. thought i would type this here so people can reference it if they need to and firstly to express myself, release me and all those other songs...

when they test for 'diabetes' they are talking about diabetes mellitus
you might not have been tested for diabetes insipidus
have you ever done a 24 hour urine or blood osmolality test?
Happy to be me

Oh I hope you don't have interstitial cystitis, I have that and have surgery for it on Monday. It's basically the wall of your bladder becomes so irritated and worn away, that any urine in there is like acid on raw skin. The only treatment is to have your bladder stretched. Something to ask about if they can't find anything - oh and don't let your doctor tell you you don't have it just because you had a normal ultrasound. Ultrasounds don't find IC, but they will try to tell you it can. What you need is a cystoscopy.

I went back to hospital and the presence of leukocytes were found to be causing a UTI. Which is an umbrella term - that the dr didn't explain to me about and I have found out now on the net after sleeping most of today. I have had kidney area pain and also when the first dr pressed my front pelvic area i had a direct linking pain to the kidney area. I looked at a diagram and it was exactly what I could feel happening. I am on two types of antibiotics, feeling nauseated, still getting pee, but that may just be because part of the kidney infection is the wee being pushed up to the kidneys, which are probably overflowing..thus a trickle down in between peeing. What you have sounds very nasty and maybe acidosis at an extreme level? I dunno but I also have acidosis and am trying to neutralise it.
I hope you have a good recovery and successful surgery! God and Buddha bless!

I think it is clearing up, without pain now when i do kegel exercises which have been my testing measure of the infection pain, so hopefully i won't be wearing the old lady pads for much longer..terrible to think of old ladies as having urine leaking normally, and i sure as heck hope i don't have it all my life. are you sure it is just a small bladder? have you been tested for anything else?

if you think about it all the time, it will get worse, try to train your head so that you're not thinking or worrying about needing to pee all the time.
i've had this problem, minus the testing, i think the things you are doing are helping but if it's anything like mine reading a book or playing a computer game (anything that requires concentration).
