Well, for starters: he refused to endorse the Margi Gras a few times, he refused to accept responsibility for Aboriginal Holocaust, little-own say 'sorry'- Black arm-band of history revisionism/ whitewashing. He won two elections due to racsim : the 'boat-people' and the Republic - ie anti multi culturalism. So culturally he was reactionary - not healthy.

Economically , he just benefited from the Chinese Mineral Boom.

he brought in gun laws

tax rates lowered to where they are now from the 18-23% they had been during hawke & keating

the debt he turned into surplus and left behind is one of the main reasons we survived the global financial crisis well

I think selling assets can be good as long as you separate (and possibly keep majority control of) the infrastructure, but no one ever does that
