You break or lose something really special to you?

I just broke this cute lil coffie mug that one of my besties gave me for my birthday a few years ago. Usually I wouldn't be so upset, but things have changed alot lately and in the last year she's gotten married and just had a baby... and I'm starting to feel a bit left behind or something. The mug reminded me of our single days when we were inseperable and I feel sad that we will never have those fun times together again :(

I totally agreee and have actually felt like a ticking time bomb this week so maybe I needed the release.

Can't be fixed (tiles) but I do still have the matching egg cup so at least that's something.

Yeah, I remember thinking it was strange at the time. They had pink piggies on them. I love pigs. :)

besides, one can manage drinking from the bottle, or just pour shots into a small juice glass. you get a bigger shot that way ;)

Oh darls, slightly know how you feel but not really the same.
I had a favorite Qantas mug and set it down on rubber thingy on the kitchen bench and knocked over in an unco moment.
Took a major chip out of it.

Funny how things like that hold so much meaning.
A bit deep but... everything that belongs to this planet passes away eventually including friendships.

Aw. That's really sweet but sadly we aren't that close anymore. Kinda why its so upsetting. We're still friends but it will never be the way it was. Certainly not joint mug shopping kinda friends.

im currently using egg cups for shot glasses...as some alcoholic fool has broken all of my shot glasses one by one.
