Post SameSame X’mas Party – Melb

Well it was a good evening with so many new faces at last night’s X’mas party! :)
Whilst I tried to say hello to many new people, it took me great courage to come forward so for those I chat to yesterday, it was great to have met you there. ;)
Did anyone have a good time?

Was more an observer, neither me or the boyfriend were feeling to great so didn't stay long.
Have to say though, for a Xmas party - it wasn't very festive....

Yeah I know, feel like just another drinking bar with lots of, well nice friendly people...
would be good to have some x'mas activities, speeches or games to get everyone involve...
Club Valve was a nice bar, would like to go back again...

Too dark for me, prefer natural light espec on a nice summers day like ystrday, the smokers bit outside was nice but very very cramped, was shocked about the toilets tho, thought there would have been more than 1 hahaha

ahhh i thought valve was awesome, i'll definately be supporting that over love machine + the christmas gift they gave us when we left @ around 12 is awesome... you can't say no to free booze.

Yeah didnt know there were so many smokers at the balcony/cage as it was a bit cramped, maybe it sends a message (indirectly) to all smokers to cut smoking as a New Year resolution ha hahaha.
Didnt drink too much so didnt visit the toilet & didnt realise it was bad either...
But I did had a good time & some lucky guy (philandering) get x'mas gift @ 12?? Gee you stay long!

ahahahah well it just kept getting better and better as the night went on. I had no reason to leave other than work @ 9am and its the last week so they understand we are out "business networking" over christmas.

yes, not too festive in the traditional sense of the word, but everyone was in good spirits, which is what really matters at the end of the day.

I had quite a good time, too (in spite of my croaky throat). Contrary to my expectations, everyone was really friendly and cheerful. It was really nice of SameSame to have organised such an event in Melbourne. Thanks!
