I guess some words to decscribe my future job would be, "surrounded by allergens!"
I'm not sure if allergens is a word.

faeriegoddess
10th August 2010, 09:11 PM
allergens is a word and we're all surrounded by them all the time. Just that most of us don't react to most of them.

So far it involves standing at pre polling booths handing out flyers.

Most interesting time of the day was when a guy accosted me, back up, demanding to know which parties support gay marriage, said as a gay dad he didnt know who to vote for. He was yelling in my face, despite the fact I was there as a representative of an independant, not a major party.
I'm meant to be canvassing for that Independant but I told him the truth, greens all the way. He instantly calmed down and stopped yelling, looked a bit embarassed when I told him 'don't worry mate, I'm for it, I wanna marry my girlfriend* one day!

but why was he yelling? had he asked someone else?

maybe he dislikes how-to-vote-hander-outers - so many of them are horrible.
