Brisbane gay day.. who is going this year?

last year was such a debarcle... and i promised myself that i wouldnt go this year..

BUT

i think will, at least for a little while anyway.. even if it is just to dance to double up bears

Yea I will be there ..... No pre sold tickets this year! It was a real mess last year! Does anyone know if there will be pass outs issued or are they going to make you stay once you get in?

i think the inclusion of leo sayer is hilarious... very camp. sneaky sound system are great. love those guys, really great performers - although weren't they just on at the met? nevertheless, they're sure to get everyone jumping! as will paulini!

It was a great day... million times better than the year before..

was great to meet Kylierose off here..

i misbehaved a little, had too many drinks and had a hard time getting up for work this morning..

vandalism's DJ's were brilliant.. very very cool..

Xia is both lovely and very tallented..

Diana Anaid was great..

lots of sexy men with no shirts on, lots of hot sexy bears.. what more could i ask for ? :)

omg it was awesome!! Yes I agreee, way better than last year. Diana Anaid was my favourite, she totally rocked! They had a decent line-up of artists this year and not crappy DJ'ing for hours on end. So many cute boys and girls. I have many photos and am sure to end up in a street press magazine or the internet somewhere (cos there was this photographer going around - who knows he coulda been from samesame!)
. I only got hit on about 3 times and asked for drugs once - not bad! haha. Of course I said no to all four offers, but I was high on my alcohol and having a great time!

Highlights: Diana Anaid, Vandalism, Sneaky Sound System, The drag queen who did the 'My Heart Will Go On' Celine rendition bahahaha (i nearly died of laughter!), Xia, David from BB (and Camilla even though she didn't say much) and Megadrag was awesome as usual - really picked up on the choreography this year. I kind of avoided Leo Sayer but I sure heard him. The amount of alcohol and money I went through hahaha.

I went to the gay day afterparty afterwards also. OMG! anyone (especially the girls) who went, and saw the acrobatic girls woulda been CREAMING themselves - even I had to kiss my friend next to me to make sure I was gay!

Great day and great night. Can't say I've had a 16 hour party in a while :) Well, 28 hours if you count going out the night before as well :P I had about 4 hours sleep between parties...

I worked today too - oh it's fun seeing your workmate's reactions to your obvious hangover :D

Zia sells sandwiches at my work... strange.... but true!

Lovely to meet hazyinseptember too *(you're on the door at the next CnT) ... very very up for it crowd ... met Corey Czok too ... drank water all day ... sweated and felt ill on Monday ... missed Zia's set thanks to the line outside ... made some great new friends and handed out heaps of fliers .... would go again next year. Much better fun than I expected.

Had such a blast .... Much better than last year although I didn't leave and try to get back in this year. Met so many beautiful people. Zia rocked out .... She is so beautiful and what a voice!! Fluffy afterparty was great also. I remember looking up at Neroli and watching her jumping around in the DJ booth with her hands in the air just going off. Definitely will be going again next year!!

Hi All, I had a great time at BGD. Brisbane has improved and can only continue to grow and get better. Congrats to all involved. Was great to meet so many wonderful people (you know who you are) and to see friends I haven't seen in a while. Take care. Corey.
