Just a quick note. We don't like banning people. This should be an essentially open space where a variety of views are expressed and respected.

Sometimes we have to ban folks, for just a few days or weeks (sometimes longer), if they keep breaking those rules which you get when you sign up. Spammers are banned instantly and for good. Also, some people request a little time-out and ask us to ban them.

But when it happens, unfortunately our system puts 'banned' on their profile, drawing a little bit of attention to it. We will never go into details publicly about why they are banned. They are no longer here to defend themselves, so it would be unfair for us to type reasons why, with no rebuttal possible. xx

I think it's a bit sad that JSF was banned. Although he seemed to have a bit of a problem with drinking and posting innapropriate things when he was drunk, I really thought that it was all related to him coming to terms with his sexuality and was looking for some support. I also liked reading his posts when he was sober.
