Hey girly!
Firstly, how come you want to move to Perth? Perth's gay scene is relatively quiet compared to Sydney and Melbourne. Having said that, lesbians are everywhere in the world no matter where you go.
Perth is fairly conservative (this is my observation coming from Sydney 2 months ago). At least, the suburbs are, but I think that's the case everywhere. I would stick to the city and Fremantle, people there tend to be a lot more liberal.
Where abouts in France are you coming from?

Live in Freo, party in Northbridge.
Fremantle is amazing, i worked there a lot and always saw a heap of backpackers, cool cats and hot dykes :p
Northbridge is where most of the Gay venues are, every Wednesday "Connections" has LESBIAN MUD WRESTLING ... hell of a lot of fun! But if you're not careful i might have to return to defend my title ;) hahahaha
