Heres a review my friend sent me after she had been there.
We ate there last night - it was WONDERFUL!
It is not cheap - $20-$30 for mains, $14 - $20 for entrees and $14 for desserts but the service is incredible, the setting is stylish and the food is to die for. The servings are generous and the ingredients are fresh and the food is innovative and attractive.
The restaurant was full last night (a Thursday night) and lovely and warm, as it has an open kitchen with a wood fired oven that keeps the whole room toasty.
Kids are taken care of with a nice kids menu - there is chicken and chips for the fussy eaters, but they also make pizza, pasta etc for the more adventurous, and they were SO nice to my boys, made a big fuss of them, discussed menu choices with them instead of ignoring them, it was a real treat.
We started with 2 antipasto plates, 3 fritto misto (battered and fried whitebait, prawns, calamari and asparagus)and two plates of garlic bread for entree, which was just right between 9 people. I can recommend the linguine vongole main course, which is full of garlic and chilli and is just to die for (pastas and risottos come in two sizes for varying appetites), and my mum raved over the cauliflower and prawn risotto. My 12 year old had the lamb which he LOVED.
