In today's climate when we are trying to understand each other and to accept where we all are at when it comes to us all being here together on one planet, sometimes things get a little hard.

The following was a comment made by a reader on the Facebook post of Rowland Croucher (a well known Christian leader in Melbourne) with the 'flip side of the coin' so to speak!

'Ministering to any of the needy is not the issue here:

(1) Isn't it more the problem that the 'Created" is telling God how to rule HIS Creation?? A true pastor tells it the way GOD wants it - NOT the way he wants it! Thus,

(2) should ANYONE who disagrees with this statement even consider entering God's Church? Its not as much about homosexuality (adultery/ incest/ rape/ stealing/ murder/ lying/ paedophilia, etc. etc) its about you, the REBELLIOUS person who is AGAINST God, because of your "disobedience".

(3) If God was agreeable to rebellion what was the point of God throwing .Satan. out of Heaven??

(4) Was it not because of the bad angels "Pride" of thinking he knew better than God?

(5) Isn't Pride the cause of most/all sin?

(6) Doesn't this get taught at Church Colleges today? All who have read the Holy Bible should know God practises "Tough Love". I'm sure He also wants us to teach. Remember the Old Testament Priest who had two rebellious sons? Didn't God also punish their father for being too soft?

Pastor Glover (and others like him) need to be very careful that they prevent not only those gay people from God's salvation, but also place their OWN salvation at risk! I was saved by an ex-homosexual pastor... so I have nothing against their salvation. In my view, Pastors/Ministers/Preachers/Priests need to teach sinners to leave their dead luggage at the feet of Jesus before entering any Church of God.

"Seek ye the lost sheep", but a good shepherd avoids geting ensnared in the 'same trap' (breaking God's rules by making his own rules) as those he is trying to save. If its not Tough Love, then its not true love, because Tough Love protects - while " loose love" destroys.'

Young Lazzarus, I did laugh at your comment, especially after reading your quote, "The most important thing in communication is to hear what isn't being said." P.F. Drucker

A good question. I have an idea but I would rather go back to the author for you.
