I recently moved to Dubbo and was hoping to find a bit more of a queer scene here. Am I not looking in the right places?

Where are all the gays?

To be honest I have only been out three times in the month I've been here and always with work people, so I didn't meet anyone new...

Google hasn't revealed anything either.

Is anyone here from Dubbo or nearby?

Have you tried places like Aussiemen? or gaydar? they might be able to help you out.

Thanks for your reply. There's nothing on these for lesbians though! I am not even looking for a hook up/dating/whatever, just a gay-friendly, alternative scene to meet people and make friends.
Maybe a gay book club? :p

omg, hi I am not in dubbo, but I go there alot hiya............it can be a bit of a shithole place though, how are you finding it so far?

and I have also searched every possible place on the net, for any gay clubs, meetings anything about gay in dubbo or around, and it is very hard to find, apparently penrith is the closest place to find gay groups, but if I am anywhere near penrith chances are I will be going to sydney :)

Oh woops sorry, I was real tired yesterday morning when I posted that. As for lesbians, i'm sure there must be some out there. Also i'm from Parkes, not too far from there. Not living there anymore though lol thankfully.
