So Jodie Foster is added to an ever lengthening list of stars who have been outed. It's an interesting debate - sure, people have a right to privacy, but when you give so many interviews, when your private life inevitably feeds into your public life, and when you have the power to be a role model to others, at what point do you just drop it into conversation and make it common knowledge?
What are people so afraid of? Will this really hurt their careers and image? We've already heard about Anthony Callea getting good comments from people on the street - it's these positive stories that help us feel like our world is a better place.
What do people think? Can a star come out and have it not be an issue? Hugh Grant was caught with his penis in Devine Brown's mouth and he's still making movies... The public has a short term consciousness when it comes to such things...
