Anywhere across Australia, i'm from Melbourne and has been part of Melbourne culture for 11 years so whats your thoughts about Sexpo? Do you think they have enough gay culture to it? Would you like more gay busineses there? I personally have been to 2 and thought it was flat and a touch boring.

This year there having a SEX TRAIN which was a old Ghoestrain and have spect half a million bucks on transformation into SEXTRAIN. Any thoughts and kind wisdom about how they can bring more gay people through the door?

I went to Sexpo last year (Melbourne). It was pretty tolerant (gay wise), but so boring. If you've ever been to a sex shop, you have seen more than Sexpo has to offer.

yeah, i always regard sexpo as a straight event and wouldn't go there, just cos i'm not that interested...

i guess i get my needs met by other events...

It is more shopping than entertainment orientated? What did you like about it? Did you attend the strip naked comp? Did you see the porno stars? Sexpo was created in
Melbourne and in its 11th year so what can they do to attract more people through the door? Maybe more gay models or actors from The L Word or Queer As Folk etc?

Gay people are always more creative with there ideas so any contributations will be greatly appreciated as i feel Sexpo's a great idea but want more gay content in it.

I second this.

The biggest reason I go though, is to be able to visit the display of fetish/leathercraft/toycraft shops that don't live where I do.. so thats alright. Generally I go and then try on things and wish I'd saved up more during the year. I also dig the pole dance displays and have a little boob perv, but then I can understand it's a little sad there is no where near as much nudity or eye candy for the guys. : /

LOL Melbourne has Sexpo and Sydney has Mardis Gras (basically the same thing). The only real difference is gay and lesbian people who go to Sexpo aren't afraid to admit why they're there :D
