i saw that half-asian fellow from packed to the rafters last night at a play i saw in newtown. he was with his female co-star who he has just gotten engaged to.

if she had been there on here own i never would've known who she was, but him i recognised as he used to be on the short lived series Breakers which i loved so much when i was younger.

And the public reason they gave for their marriage brake up was that it was a long distance relationship.
But it was long distance because she has a 'career' in the UK and didn't come out to Australia much while he was recording and touring again, even though he had spent heaps of time living in the UK before then.
She doesn't even write music, which makes me wonder what she was doing over there that was so important?
And then, 2 years later she moves out here anyway to do that stupid X Factor show.

But she supposedly took care of him when he had reactive arthritis, so maybe she is nice.

When I was in my band I did alot of these little odds and ends jobs.

In the studio- I was just the poor munted prick that sat at the counter, surfing gay porn and taking people's money. From time to time- I had to sell snacks and go into the rooms and plug mics and shit in for 'tards that didn't know how to use the equipment.

They weren't really technically jobs- cos I'd just do it from time to time, just cos I knew other dudes that worked there and would take their shifts.

I was really nervous the first time I saw him- cos I thought he would be a dickhead. But seriously he is a really nice kid. Though I would say - he hasn't been a kid in a very long time. Alot of the people he seemed to be working with- had alot of respect and admiration for him.

Powderfinger- were just starting to make it- and Silverchair were not very respected.
The Frog Stomp album was yet to come out- but rumours about the band, at the time were quite terrible.

People suggested the only reason, they got a record out, and the heavy promotion was due to the fact that certain members of the band were related to big wigs in a certain record company.
