Hi everyone,
Well, I recently signed up to have a crack at being a contributor on this site. And they said to go and introduce myself....how rude of me, I can't believe I didn't before.
Forums are a bit foreign to me, so I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong section. haha But anyway here is a little about me.
Name: Mitchell Lee Penny, although most know me as Mitcho (a nickname I was given by my first boyfriend which just kinda stuck) or just Mitch.
My idea of a good date is... Well, I'm taking this question to mean a good "first date." I'd probably have to say decent conversation and lots of laughter. And somewhere where there's good music and good wine, but where you can still talk. There's nothing worse than awkward conversation when you find out you have absolutely nothing in common with the person you're sharing a date with.
My first kiss was... A drunken pash from a girl haha...not very exciting.

On Sunday mornings you'll find me... relaxing in my room watching Will and Grace. I have work the next day, typical office job, so Sunday night is my preparation night for the week.

I secretly want to... turn back time and relive parts of my life, with the saying "if I knew then what I know now" how different could things be.
The cheesiest song in my music collection is... A few years back I started reliving my teenage years and decided to buy all the CD singles I could find from the 80's! I probably have 2 super cheesie songs (both on Cd single btw haha), Morris Minor and the Majors - This is the Chorus (a parody aimed at Stock Aitken & Waterman) and Bombalarina - Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.
My first job was... Window Dresser for a department store, although I think now they are called Visual Merchandisers.

my idea of a good date is: a nice long stroll somewhere while chatting ,followed by a casual lunch(non resturant)
my first kiss was:year 6 at a party, but that was with a girl so doesnt count. i was 25 and FINALLY hooked up with a guy that i met off the net, not all that long after i moved to sydney. nervous and shaking i was, but glad i made that step. he was cute and a nice guy
my house was burning down, id rush in to save: maybe a beach towel, so i could spend the rest of the day laying on the beach wondering how im going to replace my stuff.
sunday morning you'll find me getting up early, having breakfast, then go for a run or gym, coming back, having breakfast "mark2", watching insiders. then off to the beach or for a walk.
secretly wanted to be:more articulate, uni student(social), politician

HUGE hours, but great fun) then courier driving for a year when i first moved to sydney. then back to the carpentry.

Have you ever thought about giving uni a try now? They have lots of 'mature age' entry methods and you're never too old to start giving something a try.

Yup. The STAT is really really easy. I took it when I was panicking in my HSC and looking for the ten extra UAI points and it's simple work to get into the top two percentile because most of the people taking it aren't very smart and I'm seriously not being snobby when I say that.
There's also some nifty schemes you should look into with Mac, they love mature age students.
