Yay, Adelaide has a forum! So, first topic: who knows EXACTLY WHY the Ed closed down? Because it's a damn shame, and if there's something we can do to get it back I think we should try. Bueller? Bueller?

I know, how exciting is it, we've got a large enough gay community to warrant a Forum. Come on people, let's make the most of it!

I heard the Ed has some legal issues but don't quote me on that.

Yeah I'm not entirely sure why it closed either, but to put in my share of rumours, I heard that there were financial troubles with the old owners.

Don't know if its a good thing for a bad thing - it was always a bit of a dive, but at least it was something a bit different.

I hear The Ed has been bought by the crew behind Electric Circus.
Will they be the saviours we've been looking for?

Oh wow... I'm yet to go to Electric Circus, but I hear it's awesome... Hopefully they would be able to spruce it up a bit! (It wouldn't be too hard)

Yes the ed sounds like it was great my friends told me all about it. I went to a place called the hampshears?? anyway it was vile darlings. a bunch of men around a barrel pashing each other falling over the place.. I am all for kissing but I cant stand pple who cant handle what they drink sweetys, d=so its just the MB for us gays

I went to the Ed a few times only because I was seeing a stool warmer at the time, nice guy though. Standing around drinking is very exciting although I find that I can do that anywhere. I do hope the pub lovers find another pub to dwell in and get exceedingly drunk and fall about the place and all sleep with each other and then gossip about it online, it would make their lives more exciting for them :)

annette my poodle was banned fromm the bear pub calld hampshire so I hope ed reopens and she is welcome???
