I just read an article in the Sydney Star Observer, about an autistic man murdered near a beat in Narrabeen on the weekend. They say it might have been a hate crime. Can't help but think about the article that was posted on here a while ago - the You Are Being Watched piece (http://www.samesame.com.au/features/671/You_Are_Being_Watched) - and how responsible sites like Squirt have to be for this kind of thing happening.
Apparently the guy was found collapsed with stab wounds to his upper body on a saturday night in front of a pittwater road bus stop, and police found blood stains in a nearby toilet block and think he probably stumbled out of there and tried to get to the bus stop to get help. Not sure if the toilet block was one of the two beats listed on Squirt for this area or not... but it makes you think, doesn't it...?
