Help Needed!!!!

Hi guys and gals, My name is jen and my partner’s name is lee. We are seeking for friends who can help me to justify and witness our genuine relationship.

Having to be new living in Brisbane, we do not have many friends who are aware of our homogenous relationship. However, we are madly in love and would like to spend the rest of our lives living in Australia together. The issue arises as one of us does not hold a permanent residence in Australia, and therefore she needs to apply for an interdependent visa in order to stay in Australia for good. It’s very much like the new law in California whereby same-sex marriage is recognised, however sadly this does not apply to Australia’s legislation as yet.

Have engaged a solicitor to assist us with our interdependent visa application recently, we have just come to know that we would need two witnesses to prove that our relationship is genuine and continuing. Unfortunately, due to work commitment and the small circle of friends who are aware of our homogenous relationship, we could really use a helping hand of some kind and helpful friends out there who are willing to start a sincere friendship with us.

I know that it would sounds ridiculous or abrupt for those who read this notice, however, it really means a lot to us if anyone of you could assist us in our pathway of love.

Hi, thanks for your reply. As mentioned in the previous message. We are quite new in brisbane. We do not have the chance to know anyone who is gay oriented here. I have already been granted PR a few months ago. I would like hope that someone out there could help my partner to stay with me in brisbane. The requirement by the Australian Immi needs the witness to be a permanent resident/ citizen. Unfortunately, our friends does not meet this criteria. I am working for the queensland government and i would prefer not to disclose my sexual preference. :)
