Hi,
My names Kate, pretty new to this site, not sure how to access pm's or get a pic up.
I'm 25 and moving to Victoria....Frankston I think, in 3 weeks. I live in a place called Farnworth which is just outside of Bolton and Manchester is about ahlf an hour away.
Feel about 12 saying this but I was hoping to make some friends or acquaintances before I go.
Very very excited but its quite emotional at the mo, we've had to sell 3 horses, our dog and cat. Plus leaving behind a fantastic group of friends. We have gay village in Manchester and its an awesome night, we just recently had Pride too (Mardi Gra) which was absolutely amazing and I'll be taking some fantastic memories with me.
Just a bit scared of getting to Aus and realising how alone I'm going to be and all my memories being a million miles away and having to go out on my own, stand at the bar alone till someone says "scuse me move so I can get a drink please" then I'll say something in my strong Northern accent and they'll say "hey man you from England" and hopefully will spark off a conversation and I'll have fwends!
But I will feel like a prick going out on me own.
Can anybody help me!?
