So what's everyone's fave horror film?

Me I have to go with:

Return of the living Dead 3

love the whole body self-mutilation sequence

It's so hard to pick a favorite. I guess I have to go with Evil Dead II, just for the hand possession scene. I rather enjoyed Black Sheep though, if going for something more recent.

For me it's zombies all the way. Loved Romero's original Dawn of the Dead, and the remake was fantastic too. Romero again with Land of the Dead, thinking running zombies, woo hoo!
And the latest, Diary of the Dead, nice return to proper zombie action, although could have done without the handheld camera realism.
Can't go past Fido for funny zombie horror either.
Leaving the zombies for a moment, I absolutely loved The Mist, and The Happening was great too.

I think Chuckie is the toy every child should have.
I feel sympathy for Jason, he's lashing out at the world that took everything from him.
Michael Myers is misunderstood.
Freddy Kreuger is a creative genius.

I watched all the Friday 13th in order once, and except for a few bad ones it was quite a good series.
The nightmare on elm street series is also very good and the final Wes Craven's New Nightmare the best of all
But the Scream franchise is a good modern day re-visitation of the horror genre and if i live in USA during Hallowe'en i'd definitely wear the Scream ghost mask....
