Sleaze signals the end of the winter hibernation time and the start of spring/summer so can't wait for it to come...should be fun...any idea what the theme is or might be ??

Hey Does anyone know the theme for Sleaze this year?

I usually wear as little as possible but i like to tie it in with the theme aka - Seven Deadly Sins....i wore something with the word Sin on it <-----------Don't i have awesome powers of co-ordination :-P

It should be a fun night tho... any ideas of this years "Big Performer".....????

The PPCA increase is just mad - raising the amount paid by 1500% is going to affect everyone, and every party. Such a ridiculous decision made by people who have not been near a nightclub or dance party in decades.

But, back to Sleaze, we've heard ripples of what the theme is and it's a really fun one!

It's a theme you'll be able to have a deal deal of fun dressing up in, and it gives the scenic guys so much scope to do something great.

Sleaze is only 2 1/2 months away, so the minute it is announced we'll be able to let you know the theme and ticket details etc.

Hopefully the new PPCA increase won't affect the tickets too much.

Having gone to my first Sleaze last year I will be making sure I am going again this year. We went all out and dressed up last year and had a great time. Everyone puts so much effort into costumes it's great.

Nothing worse than dress up parties and the people dressed up are in the minority, at Sleaze if your not in theme then your laughed at and ridiculed. Not really, but seriously take the time to work out an outfit. Its the perfect way to get people talking to you, by them approaching you to talk about the effort etc that went in to making you look fabulous.

My favourite thing at Sleaze is the morning...

When everyone is trashed and looking completely messed up.... That and seeing any boi who decided to wear white - cause usually they are the dirtest people there...

Then: Atlantis, Weird, Homosutra, Sleaze 2000 Degrees, Beast, In Uniform, Flesh Dressed Up, Porn, Sinsuality, Ghetto Fabulous.

My first was Beast, in 2001. It was a first for a lot of things that night actually!
I was dressed as a black cat.
Then in 2002, In Uniform, I was dressed as a sailor. Ended up meeting a boy scout and he left his rope and toggle at my place.
2003 was Flesh Dressed Up, and I wore a pair pf jeans I cut the back out of.
2004 and 5 I was in London, but I made my way back in 2006 for Ghetto Fabulous, dressed as a pimp.

Voodoo Circus I was talked into wearing a pair of leather short chaps by my then flatmates. Oh dear, they made my arse stick out perpendicular to my body! ;) But it was still a fun night! I saw Dead Or Alive perform from up the back of the RHI, so what I saw of Pete Burns was just a little speck, but what a fabulous speck he was! ;)

Atlantis outfit was put together mostly at the last minute with help from a flatmate, but I did have a coral crown that i'd been working on for a week made out of this squiggly packing foam that was sitting in my teased up hair. Kind of looked like an underwater Barbarella in the end. Not bad for some last minute styling. ;)

my first sleaze was BEAST in 2001 - what a fucking brilliant party too. chrissie amphlett sang i touch myself and pleasure and pain - and wow... she blew us all away. awesome stuff... so much sexual energy at that party. i can't wait til the next one.

Don't forget that Sleaze is meant to be the "darker" version of Mardi Gras though, so anything too fun and beachy would just take away the initial theme..

can you imagine the amount of gimp masks we'd see - SCARY!!

but more then that it would create an entirely different atmosphere almost like Anonymity (what an awesome name for it too :p ) as you wouldn’t be able to see the face of the person thats grinding up against you - OH MY!!
people would totally let lose as they can hide behind the mask and no one would know who they were...

Sleaze is ment to be dark, yes. But I think it has definately lightened and became more mainstream over the last 5ish years. Remember when there used to be a back room? Remember all the sexy demonstrations and shows (not just the ones on stage)?
The same happened to Inquisition.
