So we have a feature now discussing celebs coming out of the closet and being famous and gay.
The feature covers the usual crowd, Elton John, George Michael, Darren Hayes.
But what about the new bunch, TK Knight (George from Grey's) possibly Wentworth Miller as well.

Are there any others???
What do we think about celeb's coming out and is there anyone who you think could be one of us????

Oh and don't mention He Who Must Not Be Named - THAT famous celeb who even if the sniff of the word GAY is mentioned will bring lawyers out to sue that person......

why do we care is my question? does it make a difference to us/the community if they come out or if we know their sexual preference? i understand that in the past we needed the profile of celebs to widen the acceptance of gays in the community but is this still relevant today?

I think so, society and the world needs to see more people out there, the more something becomes common the more people notice it less and it causes less of a fuss...

I agree that the more stars that out themselves, the more homosexuality will be considered the norm. I think it's great that T.R is out, and hopefully Wentworth will follow suit.
